About Me

Hi, my name is Jamie Tucker and I am from Texas! I am 23 years old and have been an au pair in Ireland for about 4 months now.

I went to college at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and graduated in May of 2012 with a degree in Education. I have worked in daycares, babysat, and worked in schools since I was about 15 years old. I have always known that I have wanted to work with kids. Before I became an au pair, I was looking for a job as a teacher.

My family is amazing and absolutely supported my decision to become an au pair and travel to Ireland. Of course, they were nervous because I would be so far away but knew it would be a great experience.
They consist of my mom, my dad,  my step-dad, my 2 younger brothers and my 3 step-siblings.

So now I am officially staying in Ireland until December 30!
